1º Prêmio Mobilefest para desenvolvedores de aplicativos para celular:
O Festival Internacional de Criatividade Móvel, Mobilefest 2010, está promovendo o primeiro prêmio para desenvolvedores de aplicativos para celular.
Desenvolvedores das plataformas Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian, J2ME, iPhone, Blackberry e Flash já podem se inscrever na premiação. O tema do I Prêmio Mobilefest de Aplicativos para celular será “Como a tecnologia móvel pode contribuir para cultura, arte, ecologia, educação, saúde, terceiro setor, democracia, comércio e paz?”.
As inscrições são gratuitas e acontecem do dia 1 de agosto a 1 de setembro pelo site www.premiomobilefest.com.br. Serão quatro categorias de abordagem dos temas propostos:
a) Cultura, arte, entretenimento e redes sociais;
b) Meio ambiente, ecologia e sustentabilidade;
c) Educação, saúde e esportes;
d) Terceiro setor, democracia, cidadania, paz e serviços públicos

The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers $1 million in cash or HP Products for applications developed using the Palm webOS Plug-in Development Kit (PDK), and rewards developers of the most-installed free and highest-revenue paid applications. The count begins July 15, 2010 and will last until September 30, 2010.

O objetivo do concurso é dar aosdesenvolvedores a oportunidade de desenvolver aplicativos que sejam criativos e ao mesmo tempo que possam contribuir positivamente com a promoção de mudanças com foco na sustentabilidade.
O concurso está dividido em 4 categorias: Seja Verde (relacionado aos aplicativos ligados à ecologia) , Produtividade (programas que facilitem a vida do usuário) , Qualidade de vida (aplicativos com foco em educação e saúde) e Entretenimento (aplicações com foco em música, entretenimento, multimídia e jogos).
Para participar do concurso, você deve se inscrever no próprio site, cujo prazo vai até o dia 18 de maio.
