Estava dando uma olhada no site de Desenvolvedores da Sony Ericsson, quando encontrei o texto “Sony Ericsson and Saab: P1 application interacting with the Saab 9-X BioHybrid concept car“. É simplesmente impressionante a idéia do carro conceito com controle por telefone celular, veja este trecho: The idea was to use one or multiple phones as central hubs for the driver and co-driver to interact with the car and each other. This bi-directional communication allows the phone to control personalized functions in the car.

Sobre as operações que são possíveis através do telefone: The UIQ 3 application pairs the P1 or W960 with the car via Bluetooth and allows the end-user to remotely select exterior or interior functions using the phone’s touchscreen. You can:

* Control ambient lightning
* Control front and rear seat settings
* Lock the car
* Open the tailgate
* Switch on and off the lights (blinkers, main lights…)

In addition it fully interacts with the entertainment and navigation systems of the concept car and allows driver and co-driver to share content, e.g. the co-driver can upload his personal maps to the system with a separate device.
